Getting started with Labelka
From logging in to your first shipping label, in a few simple steps.
Log in to the app
Open Labelka and sign in to your account (the "Log in" button in the top-right corner of this page).
Connect your Baselinker account
In company settings, paste the API token from your Baselinker account. The token is stored encrypted and is used to fetch orders and keep their data up to date in Labelka, as well as to book couriers. Most of these methods only read data or download documents; two of them perform real actions: createPackage creates a shipment in your Baselinker account, and runRequestParcelPickup books an actual courier pickup at the given address — Baselinker provides no method for cancelling a pickup, so that operation cannot be undone through the API. When generating the token in Baselinker, enable the following methods: getOrders, getOrderStatusList, getOrderDetails, getCouriersList, getCourierFields, getCourierAccounts, createPackage, getLabel, getProtocol, getRequestParcelPickupFields, runRequestParcelPickup.
Choose the label format in Baselinker
You choose the label format (PDF or ZPL/EPL) in Baselinker, in the integration configuration of each courier. PDF is what lets Labelka impose four labels per A4 sheet and print single labels on A6. ZPL and EPL are raw thermal-printer files — you can download them from Labelka, but they cannot be imposed onto an A4 sheet.
Make sure a courier is integrated in Baselinker
Labelka only uses couriers configured directly in your Baselinker account — before you start booking shipments in Labelka, add and configure the courier you need in the Baselinker panel.
Define your products and packages
Add your products (models) with weight, dimensions, and packaging. Labelka uses this data to automatically match every order to the right package.
Wait for automatic sync
Orders from Baselinker appear in Labelka automatically, on a regular sync cycle — nothing to export or import by hand.
Book the courier and download the label
You book the courier and download the label in Labelka — for a single order or in bulk for the orders you select, as A4 with four labels per sheet or as A6.
Download the handover protocol
The handover protocol — the document the courier signs when collecting your parcels — is downloaded in Labelka, in bulk for the orders you select. A protocol can only be downloaded for orders whose label has already been fetched, because only then does the shipment exist at the courier; orders without a ready label are skipped and listed separately. You can also download the protocol straight from the summary shown after a bulk booking, once the labels are ready, and from the order archive.
Track shipment status
Order and shipment statuses update automatically, so you always know what's been shipped and what's still pending.
